How to reach JSI

  • In Ljubljana the bus is the only means of public transport (Ljubljanski potniski promet). The fee (EUR 1.25, no change returned) can be paid by cash on entering the bus (no change given) or with tokens (EUR 0.79), which can be bought in tobacco shops, in post offices or at other locations.
  • The buses no. 1 (direction Mestni Log) or bus no. 6 (direction Dolgi most) both travel to JSI.  We recommend taking bus no. 1, because it stops in front of the side entrance to the Jozef Stefan Institute on Jadranska cesta. Bus no.6 stops on Trzaska Street about 5 minutes walking distance from the Institute (cross the main street at the traffic lights and walk along the Jadranska Street).
